High Noon favourite, and true southern gent Justin Townes Earle has announced another Australian Tour - his third in two years. This time though, he be bringing ex-Drive-By Trucker Jason Isbell with him to savour the sights.

Earle will be performing at Bluesfest (along with The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Matisyahu, et al) before hitting the road, including a number of regional stops along the way. See here for dates and ticketing info.

Furthermore, The Trip Wire this week posted a stream of Earle and Dawn Landes covering Dolly Parton's 'Do I Ever Cross Your Mind'. Incidentally, the new Dawn Landes album, Sweetheart Rodeo, is fantastic and will be reviewed here shortly. In the meantime, click the link below to hear Justin & Dawn do their twang-thang.

Him and Dawn sound awesome together. I'm back in the UK now so I hope they tour here as well.

Having missed JTE when he toured Perth late last year this news is very welcome, and the fact that Jason Isbell is coming along too is just all the better. I won't miss out this time!
